AM Vila Olimpica apartment.
In the neighbourhood of Vila Olimpica in Barcelona, there is a turn-key renovation project. For each project, we aim to identify key goals and objectives that enhance comfort and improve the user experience in domestic spaces.
One of our strategies was to open the kitchen to the living area by installing a large window, which allows natural light to flow in and seamlessly integrates both spaces. We also focused on optimising natural and cross ventilation while maintaining privacy through the use of sliding doors.
Additionally, we reorganised the layout to create storage solutions that blend in with the doors and walls, keeping the design clean and unobtrusive.
The result is a dialogue between light and shadow, complemented by a minimalist and neutral design that emphasises the most important aspect of any home: its inhabitants.
