Skyggeskogen is the forest of shadows a restaurant experience design.

Restaurant experience, this project interact with the history of a Colonial building with the client, to develop the concept the building and space have beeing mapped through textures and shade doing an exhaustive study of how the building change throughout the day with the shadows projected by edification and the existing garden in the backyard.

Once the map was done the textures were developed and located in the floor plan to interact with the sun during the day so the customers could experience the changes of the space from sunlight.

Those textures represent the history, the environment and the future of the building and integrate the outdoor and indoor with strategic openings to the garden which frame the views to the customers.
